- CMR: board that represents the whole Hogeschool Rotterdam, consents/advises the decisions of CvB
- CvB: executive board that makes decisions for the whole Hogeschool Rotterdam

AS A STUDENT FROM WDKA:
1. Decisions about your future are being made without your input or representation!
2. The board has made it clear that they want to change the name of the Academy from ‘Willem de Kooning’ to ‘Design Academy’. This will then be on your diploma too.
3. Your teachers are already burned out with temporary contracts and now risk getting laid off. This has direct influence on the quality of education!
4. ART QUESTIONS HOW THINGS ARE DONE AND PROVIDES ALTERNATIVE WAYS OF LOOKING AT THE WORLD FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS! SAFEGUARDING WDKA AS AN ART INSTITUTION IS CRUCIAL IN CREATING THESE TRANSFORMATIVE NARRATIVES!
AS A PERSON WHO LOVES ART:
1. The Rotterdam cultural and art scene is build on the creativity and input of artists coming from the Willem de Kooning Academy. When our education will be standardised to just an information driven design academy, the free creation present in the art scene in Rotterdam will be going down too! We can't let this happen!
